1 Timothy 3:9-11

⁹ They must ^(A)hold the mystery of the faith with ^(B)a clear conscience. ¹⁰ And ^(C)let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless. ^11 (D)Their wives likewise must^[a] be dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded, ^(E)faithful in all things.
